Jennifer Parkhurst the renowned artist and wild life photographer and conservationist, is a quietly spoken shy person with an enormous dedication to animals. Her love affair with the dingoes of Fraser Island began when she fell under the spell of these unique rare Fraser Island dingoes, believed to be the last pure breed of dingoes left on the eastern coat of Australian, having been isolated on their Island and not subjected to cross breeding with domestic dogs. This dedication found her targeted by the law for her whistleblowing on the condition of the dingoes on Fraser Island. Jennifer Parkhurst was fined $40,000 and given a suspended 2 year prison sentence ostensibly for feeding starving dingo pups, but Jennifer is a wildlife artist, writer and expert with an incredible rapport with the dingoes.
